Evening program

• Screening of the classic of Japanese and world cinema 'Rashomon' (1950) directed by Akira Kurosawa, based on the story by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. We'll watch it in Japanese with Russian subtitles, then discuss.
• It's recommended to familiarize yourself with the literary sources — Akutagawa's stories 'In a Grove' and 'The Rashomon Gate' (not required, but it will be interesting).
• At the start there will be 15 theatrical minutes for gathering, then a short introduction.
