Last night the solo exhibition "My Inner Self" by artist Irene Dimitrijević-Rabovjanović opened at the Green Door Art Corner gallery.

About the exhibition

This is an exhibition that invites us to pause. To step away from the daily rush for a moment and ask —

what do we actually see when we look at ourselves? Our likeness, or what lies behind it?

Through sculptures and drawings the artist leads us into the world of our inner self-examinations:

• fears
• dilemmas
• crossroads
• falls and disappointments
• the strength we find to get up again and move on

The wire carries special symbolism; its interweaving evokes the complexity of our thoughts and emotions, but also the accelerated pace of life, the lack of genuine communication, and the alienation that increasingly becomes part of contemporary life.

"My Inner Self" is not an exhibition you just pass by. It reminds us how sometimes we need to slow down, pause, and look a little deeper into ourselves.

Perhaps then, behind the image we show the world every day, we can meet our true inner self.
