September 17 in Podgorica: Montenegro’s Russian-speaking community is gathering for a voluntary blood drive
What’s Happening
On Thursday at 8:00 a.m., we’ll be at the Blood Transfusion Center of Montenegro. And we really hope there will be a lot of us.
We can’t change the world. We can’t fix the terrible things that sometimes happen far away or right next to us. But we can help someone.
And there are things we can truly do together—regardless of nationality, beliefs, and everything else that sometimes divides us.
We’ve decided to dedicate this blood drive to Regina—a member of our donor community who passed away this summer.
Regina would come to donate blood on her own and always responded to our drives. Sometimes she wasn’t allowed to donate because of her low weight or low hemoglobin—but the next time, she was back with us.
That’s why on September 17, we’ll gather to donate blood, in part to honor her memory.
How to Join
Both experienced donors and first-time donors are welcome to join.
You’ll need to bring your donor card. If you don’t have one, bring your passport.
