Description
PERFORMANCE BY THEATRICAL LABORATORY "SANTA MUERTE"
What if one day you find yourself at a Station that grants wishes? A place where everyone receives exactly what they dreamed of. But is it really a gift?
What is the Station? A land of bliss or a creepy prison? A paradise garden or a hellish abyss? And if it is indeed a prison, who is the real jailer there?
On July 12 the Auditorium will host the performance "Station" — the debut production of the young theatrical laboratory "Santa Muerte", founded in Belgrade.
The theatre's name refers to the Mexican cult of Santa Muerte, in which Death becomes a symbol of the equality of all people before fate and the consequences of their own choices. It is no coincidence that "Station" became the company's first work — a contemplative play about desires, freedom, and the price we are willing to pay for them.
The production is the directorial debut of Yadviga Heiles (Veronika Gotsiridze) — a graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture.
