Opening of the international icon exhibition "Light of the Logos" at the Gallery of the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment

Tonight the Gallery of the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment will host the opening of the international icon exhibition "Light of the Logos". The exhibition is organized with the support of UNESCO and will serve as the venue for one of the world’s largest gatherings of contemporary icon painters. The display brings together 124 icons by 103 authors from 18 countries. More than 20 foreign artists and lecturers will come to Belgrade for the opening. The event’s main guest will be Professor Georgios Kordis from Greece, recognized as one of the most influential contemporary icon painters. In addition, visitors will be able to see three rare icons from the famed workshop of the Monastery of Saint Elisabeth in Minsk for the first time. Free admission.
