Symphony in the Dark: Sound Experience

The orchestra plays live in complete darkness. Audience members — in satin masks. The music comes not only from the stage — some of it sounds from different points in the hall, from behind you, from the side, and your body reacts before you understand what is happening. That's where you most often get the chills.

Episode I — legendary film soundtracks and immortal classics in a single hour. Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, Interstellar, Amélie, Inception — and Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the Moonlight Sonata, Mozart's Lacrimosa, Bach, Pärt.

• All 16 pieces run without breaks for applause or announcements — 60 minutes as one continuous work, rather than a collection of separate pieces.
• The finale — almost one and a half minutes of complete silence from five hundred people in the dark. It's hard to explain unless you've been there.
