Description
Description
We're going to explore the Homolje mountains — not the highest in Serbia, but very beautiful. The Gornjak Gorge is flanked on both sides by two mountains: Vukan and Eževac. This time we'll climb the summit of Eževac (675 m). In Serbian, 'eževac' means 'hedgehog' — you'll understand why at the top 🐾
On the mountain and its slopes we'll enjoy the surrounding views, and down in the gorge we'll stroll along the banks of the picturesque Mlava, look for wild trout, and visit the Gornjak Monastery with an interesting history and a hermit's cell in the rock.
