Free walking tour “Discover Vračar"

On Saturday, as part of the European Heritage Days program, everyone is invited to a free walking tour “Discover Vračar”. Art historian Milan Prosen will lead participants through the district's main points and tell the local history.

Program

• stories about the district's founder Francis Mackenzie
• the opening of the first McDonald's at Slavija
• the secrets behind the construction of the Temple of Saint Sava and the National Library

Conclusion

The walk will finish with a visit to the old artisans' quarter Gradić Pejton and the Kalenić market.

Meeting and registration

The group will meet at 11:00 in front of the Božidarac building (UK Božidarac) Google Maps. The tour will last about two hours.
