Summer festival of theatre and film in Vracar

The City Municipality of Vracar invites all citizens and the media to “Vracar Open Air” — the summer festival of theatre and film, which will take place every Saturday from 18 July to 8 August 2026 at various locations in Vracar. The festival offers a free program aimed at all generations: from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM the VRACAR JUNIOR program is intended for children and families and includes creative workshops, performances, children’s entertainers, mascots, sports games and many other activities, while at 9:00 PM the CINEMA UNDER THE STARS begins, with a carefully curated selection of award-winning domestic and international films.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM:

• On Saturday 18 July, on the plateau in front of the Municipality of Vracar (Njegoševa 77) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • creative workshop “Create Your Own Cap”, children’s entertainer Rumi, competitive games for children and parents at 9:00 PM
  • film Savršeni dani (2023) (eng. Perfect Days)

• On Saturday 25 July, on the plateau in front of the Municipality of Vracar (Njegoševa 77) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • face painting, children’s theatre performance, fun dance choreographies at 9:00 PM
  • domestic film Leto kada sam naučila da letim (2022) (eng. The Summer I Learned to Fly)

• On Saturday 1 August, in Vojvode Bojovića Park

  • from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: face painting, meet-and-greet with mascot Blui, clown show
  • at 9:00 PM: film Prošli životi (2023) (eng. Past Lives)

• On Saturday 8 August, in the courtyard of Sports Center "Mirko Sandić" (Sjenička 1)

  • from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: sports games, obstacle courses for children, creative painting workshop for the little ones
  • at 9:00 PM: film Vidi kako beže (2022) (eng. See How They Run)
