About the project
The artist’s primary method is naïve satire. It is a creative way to reinterpret social and personal upheavals by transforming unsettling images into deliberately cute, ironic miniatures and paintings. At the heart of this project lies the inner child within an adult, who discovers that memories of the past are no longer a safe haven.
Her artistic research focuses on the issues of memory, power, trauma, and the loss of a sense of security. The artist's works have been featured in independent Russian and European media outlets, including:
