On August 6 at the Tsoi Center, director Борис Павлович — one of the most prominent Russian theatre directors of recent years, a laureate of the Golden Mask, and the author of productions, lectures and artistic projects at the intersection of theatre, music and literature — will perform.

That evening Борис Павлович will present a performance dedicated to the work of OBERIU — a literary association that included:

• and other authors who changed the idea of what poetry and theatre can be.

This is an encounter with texts that, almost a hundred years later, continue to astonish with their freedom, humor, precision and ability to find meaning where, it seems, absurdity reigns.
