Air Serbia has shared its plans for 2027: six more cities will be a direct flight away from Belgrade. Five of the routes are new and one is coming back after a break. Tickets are already on sale.
The schedule
- Yerevan - from 28 March, three flights a week, rising to four from mid-June.
- Helsinki - from 1 April, three flights a week. Air Serbia flew there in 2019, but the route was dropped during the pandemic.
- Miami - from 20 May, two flights a week. It will be the airline's third US city after New York and Chicago.
- Cluj-Napoca - from 31 May, four flights a week. Its second Romanian destination after Bucharest.
- Chisinau - from 3 June, four flights a week.
- Menorca - from 16 June, two flights a week, just in time for summer. It will be the airline's ninth destination in Spain.
What stands out
For Belgrade's Russian-speaking community, Yerevan is probably the most notable name on the list. Flights start in late March, with more added by summer.
Miami is the longest of the new routes. The airline pitches it as a handy jumping-off point for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Menorca is a calm Spanish island with coves and clear water. A good summer option if Mallorca and Ibiza feel too loud.
What else is changing
The airline will also add flights on existing routes but hasn't said which ones yet. The fleet is growing too: three Airbus A320s and one Embraer E195 join in 2026, and two more A320s and another Embraer are confirmed for 2027. According to Serbian media, a deal for one more Airbus is in its final stage.
