The holidays start at Starbucks today, 5 November, as the winter menu returns to US coffeehouses. It brings back the old favourites: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Sugar Cookie Latte and Gingerbread Chai.
The bear story
The star of the season is Bearista, a glass cold cup shaped like a little bear in a green beanie. It launched in the November 2025 holiday collection and went viral almost instantly. Fans waited outside stores overnight, the cups sold out nationwide in record time, and resellers asked many times the original price - one eBay listing wanted $1,250. Starbucks even apologised to everyone who missed out.
What's happening this year
- 5 November - holiday menu.
- 10 November - Bearista Surprise Box Edition: each box holds a mystery bear, and you only find out which one when you open it. Limited quantities.
- 17 November - Red Cup Day: buy a holiday drink and get a free reusable red cup.
- 1 December - the original Bearista returns to select stores, also in limited numbers.
No price for the surprise bears has been announced yet.
What about Serbia?
All these dates apply to US stores. Starbucks in Serbia runs its own seasonal offers, but we haven't found any announcement about the bears or red cups here yet. We'll let you know if that changes.
