Joseph Visarionovich Stalin saw the play "Bela Garda" 20 times, then renamed it "Days of Turbina". Mikhail Bulgakov, surrounded by Kiev, had to revise the play several times under the censors' demands. In December 1918, Kiev is caught between the White Guards and the Red Army, and then between renegade nationalists and misfortunes sneaking towards the East. Invest a new capital to convince the Slavs to fight among themselves – a war exercise. Street gunfire, brothers, disillusioned officers, war penetrates the bed. Unfaithful wives. A ship fleeing in terror. Betrayal and treachery. At a time when Knez would admire Gavrilo Princip. The vest of his gaze is the thread of Isak Babel, who asked if the Slavs–without whom this continent would be an empty setting for European banquets–had no history. He questions all the hungry poets while the pale world shines in dried blood as the sun sets. With the sweetness of bitter hatred, the bitter disdain for all and the entire suffering humanity. The sunflower slides to the sky like a head chopped off. The horse with death as a muse, exhausted in the reins.
