Serbian movies supported by Eurimages

Serbian films that were produced with the support of Eurimages, the film fund of the Council of Europe, will be shown at free screenings at the Yugoslav Film Archive, from September 4th to 8th in the 'Makavejev' hall.

Last year, the Archive screened the first seven predominantly Serbian films co-financed by Eurimages, from the first decade of this century. Now, ten more films from the period 2008-2017 are scheduled, and the plan is to continue this practice next year.

The cycle starts with 'The Tour' (2008) by Goran Marković and 'The Trap' (2009) by Srđan Karanović, and chronologically ends with the feature-length documentary 'The Other Side of Everything' (2017) by Mila Turajlić. Meanwhile, films like 'The Parade' (2011) by Srđan Dragojević, 'Circles' (2013) by Srdan Golubović, 'Enclave' (2015) by Goran Radovanović are also on the program...

This program represents a sort of overview of the most successful and internationally renowned Serbian films of recent production. Screenings are scheduled every day at 18:00 and 20:30.
