Giselle, a ballet by composer Adolphe Adam based on the story by Theophile Gautier, will bring to life the legend of Slavic origin about girls who become fairies. Giselle is a timeless gem of classical ballet that will be performed for the first time at the MTS Arena by the Sofia Capital Ballet, with choreography by Jean Coralli and Marius Petipa.
In the lead roles, the audience will have the opportunity to see Elizabeta Formento as Giselle, and in the role of Prince Albert, soloist Yanier Gomez Nada. The set design is by Rubbinacci, and costumes by Meglena Ilieva. The ballet director is Yordan Krasev.
