Walking Day in Serbia

Walking Day in Serbia is a sports-recreational event organized by mountaineering clubs in Serbia under the auspices of the Mountaineering Association of Serbia and with the support of the Ministry of Sports. The goal of the event is to promote healthy lifestyle habits, emphasize the importance of physical activity for improving health and work capacity, socialization, and the development of tourist potentials through the maintenance and use of organized walking paths in Serbia.

This year's program in Novi Sad includes the following walks:

Walk I

Starting point: Petrovaradin at the bus station for bus number 3 and 9

Departure time for walking: 9:00 am

Event description: Petrovaradin – Vezirac – mountaineering lodge on Strazilovo – Branko's monument – Bukovac. The length of the trail is about 12 kilometers and is not demanding.
