This week, we’ll be watching “What a Drama!” starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. On paper, this movie is a rom-com—but that’s only on paper. This isn’t the kind of movie you’d want to watch with your significant other on a first date—a happy ending isn’t guaranteed here, and instead of vanilla romance and laughter (though there’s some of that too) — there are some rather deep reflections on family and interpersonal relationships.
Charlie and Emma are in love and about to get married. The wedding venue has been chosen, the invitations have been sent out, and there are only a few days left until the long-awaited ceremony. But one sudden revelation turns everything upside down—Charlie learns something about Emma that he’d rather not know. Now, on their path to “happily ever after,” their relationship must navigate an unexpected drama.
