7th Belgrade Half Marathon

Date announced for the Belgrade Half Marathon — here’s why it will be special this year

Details

• The start and finish of both distances, 10 km and 21 km, will be located in front of the Belgrade Arena.
• The route will run through New Belgrade and Zemun.
• Up to 5,000 participants are planned, registration is already open.

Main event

• The main highlight of the competition will be the appearance of Serbian athlete Elzan Bibić, who intends to break the national record over the 10 km distance.
• His personal best is 28 minutes 45 seconds. Bibić set it in November last year in the Macedonian town of Gevgelija.
• Elite runners from Kenya, Ethiopia, Hungary and Romania have also confirmed participation in the half marathon.

The half marathon will be one of Belgrade’s preparation stages for major international competitions in April 2027.
