Cycle of Concerts Music Through the Museum: Trio En
Description
In the framework of the fifth cycle "Music Through the Museum", the sixth concert will be held at the Historical Museum of Serbia, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 20:00. The Japanese ensemble "Trio En" will perform. The group of Japanese musicians plays artistic melodies from Japan and Serbia, and the concert at the Historical Museum of Serbia is their first concert as part of the December mini-tour in Serbia. The ensemble consists of Tatara Toki, a master of shinnobue, traditional Japanese bamboo flutes, Fumiko Takeshita, an artist on the harmonica and a member of the award-winning orchestra KUD "Gradimir" from Belgrade, and Ecuko Cunozaki, a violinist and representative of the Association for the Advancement of Music Exchange between Serbia and Japan. The program includes compositions such as "Pukni zoro", "Ringo Oivake" (Song about an Apple), "Shino no Netori" (a piece of Japanese classical music, Gagaku style, played to tune the shinnobue before performance), "Oro Gajde", "When the First Snow Falls", "I Am a Little Gypsy", "Ederlezi", "Medeno Kolo" (a song from the anime "Lupin III"), "Kagari Dengaku" (traditional Japanese music for prayers, dances, and songs to the God of rice fields performed by fire) and "Johnece Tairiku" (Passionate Continent), as well as surprise compositions from the music archive of the Historical Museum of Serbia. Admission to the concert is free, but due to the limited number of seats, interested citizens must reserve a seat by calling 064/858-1296. Reservations are accepted every day, except Monday, from 12:00 to 19:00. Those unable to attend the concert or not timely reserve a seat will be able to watch the concerts on the IMS YouTube channel the next day. The same YouTube channel also features recordings of all concerts held as part of the "Music Through the Museum" cycle. In the fifth season, the audience can expect concerts by renowned domestic musicians and young talents, as well as performances by guests from the region, Italy, and Japan. Note that the Historical Museum of Serbia is hosting the representative exhibition "Waiting for the Permanent Exhibition", which interested citizens can visit every day, except Mondays, from 12:00 to 20:00 (ticket sales until 19:00).
