Renewing Meaning ▪︎ Shejma Fere, Sasha Stojanovic and Marija Tasic

Believing that artists and scientists must be a kind of constructive rebels who seek alternatives to the dominant order, this exhibition by Shejma Fere, Sasha Stojanovic and Marija Tasic aims to reconsider possible resistance strategies in current conditions of uncertainty and insecurity, and critically explore the processes of knowledge production and the transformative power of art. The gallery space ceases to be a mere place of representation and becomes an environment resembling a laboratory or classroom, where mediation is simultaneously carried out by both the authors and visitors.

The core of the dialogue, or the meeting point of these three authors, are the current ecological problems, which are a direct consequence of capitalist production. Therefore, Renewing Meaning insists on a return to basic humanity through encounters, collective experiments, mutual education, and socializing.
