Alisa In the Land of Fears
Description
The Yugoslav Drama Theatre
The play Alisa in the Land of Fears is inspired by episodes from Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. When she was little, Alice believed that six impossible things could happen before breakfast. Now she is a grown woman in her thirties. She should have a career, a family. She should be fulfilled, stable, adult. What she has is a new psychotherapist with whom she travels through her mind. When she was a little girl, wonders awaited her there, caterpillars with hookahs, talking cards, smiling cats, cakes and tea, hysterical birds. It was a world where every step was a new excitement, a world of possibilities for endless wonders. Now, there is only a land filled with doubts and fears. Yet, there is still a possibility for a miracle to happen…
