Guardians of the Soul of the Analog Era

On the BitefArtCafe club stage on 23 April, two original voices that have shaped the regional singer-songwriter and rock scene for decades will arrive. The project "Analog Breed", initiated by Zoran Predin and Nikola Čuturilo, brings an evening of music born from friendship, experience and the need to preserve what endures — the song, the lyrics and the authorial signature — in an age of fast-changing trends.

BitefArtCafe, a space that has nurtured live music and close encounters between artists and audiences for over two decades, is the ideal venue for this concert. In an intimate club atmosphere where each song reaches the audience directly, Predin and Čuturilo will present a project that merges two strong singer-songwriter voices and the spirit of an analog era.

Zoran Predin, one of the most important new-wave Slovenian singer-songwriters known for his witty and commanding songwriting voice, and Nikola Čuturilo, the Belgrade singer-songwriter who offers his perspective on social themes through an authentic rock'n'roll sound, are bound by a long-standing friendship and dedication to making music. Their joint project "Analog Breed" was created as a testament to timeless quality in a time when trends come and go at dizzying speed.

"'Analog Breed' is a project of kindred spirits. Nikola and I decided almost forty years ago to join forces in a musical project in the way that suited us best. Our ideas have now come to fruition and we are looking forward to presenting our music and lyrics to the regional audience that prefers substance over packaging," explains Zoran Predin.

Analog Breed is not just these two outstanding musicians — it also includes the players who have accompanied Nikola Čuturilo for twenty years, and the project has been joined by other internationally known contributors such as:

• photographer Briana Rašića — who is responsible for the official photographs

"We named the project 'Analog Breed' because it's very fun, very inspiring and because at our age we become more aware of the passage of time, and Zoran and I are hardworking artists who love to explore. Also because we are creating something new. We are truly in our best years, the band is young, full of enthusiasm and full of love for music," added Nikola Čuturilo.

After the well-received release of the album "Analog Breed" in December 2024, and successful showcases in Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana, as well as an intimate unplugged tour across Serbia, Predin and Čuturilo continued their concert journey as part of the 025 TOUR. The tour included festival and club appearances across the region.

The project Analog Breed received the award "Neki Rok 2025" for musical achievements in rock music, a recognition given to artists who consistently cultivate original rock music in their native language and contribute to the preservation and development of the regional rock scene.

See you on 23 April at the BitefArtCafe club for an evening dedicated to song, original music and the spirit of an analog era. It will be an opportunity for the audience to experience up close the meeting of two artists whose songs have accompanied generations of listeners for decades.
