Balkan Film Directing Festival

From June 10 to 14, the First Balkan Film Directing Festival (BFFR) will take place in Belgrade.🎥

The festival consists of three programs:

• "Balkan Awakening"
• "Cinema Secrets"
• "Return to Genre"

Each program will present a competitive selection of eight films. The competition includes films from directors of different generations - from debut works of newcomers to films by experienced authors who continue to explore the boundaries of cinematography and language of expression.

The festival will take place at three venues: MTS Arena, Youth Center, and Cinema Zvezda.

The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony.🏆 In addition to the main award, the jury will also award a Special Prize for outstanding achievements in the following areas:

• acting
• screenplay
• editing
• cinematography
• music
• set design
• costume design
• sound design
