Elvira Ibragimova - a historian specializing in both Yugoslavias, with a PhD in comparative history, will be giving two lectures on white emigration in January

January 9 - "In search of the white city: Belgrade and white emigration"

This lecture will delve into the lives of emigrants from the Russian Empire in interwar Belgrade. We will discuss where they lived, worked, and socialized, how they established their infrastructure, and how their fate unfolded

January 16 - "White emigration in the Balkans"

This lecture will go beyond Belgrade and examine the life and adventures of white emigration in other parts of Yugoslavia, as well as in the Balkans as a whole.
