The Band and Their Style

The band was formed in 2007 by producer Tommaso Colliva, who has worked with Muse and Franz Ferdinand. The idea was simple: to play music inspired by Italian crime films of the ’60s and ’70s and the soundtracks of Morricone and his contemporaries. Their sound is a mix of funk, jazz, rock, and prog, featuring heavy grooves, Hammond organ, and fuzz guitars. Their tracks were featured in the Hollywood film RED, the band opened for Muse in Milan, and played to sold-out crowds in London, Berlin, and Paris.

New Tour

The new tour is called Calibro 35 vs L.A. It grew out of their soundtrack for the documentary Ellroy vs. LA about writer James Ellroy and Los Angeles. They’ll start with new material, followed by their hits.
