Holandska umetnica Cecilija Hendriks (@ceciliahendrikx) polazi od „Huis van Gelderen” modernističke vile u Enšedeu (Holandija), kao početne tačke za istraživanje arhitekture, tekstila, fiksacije i dokumentacije.

Umesto da kuću tretira kao dokumentarni predmet, Hendriks joj pristupa kao prostoru u kojem se prepliću istorije, arhitektonske pojavnosti, kao i zamišljeni i stvarni odnosi. Kroz beleženje i ponovnu obradu onoga sa čim se susreće, galerijski prostor KC Grada postaje mesto transfera - prostor u kojem se objekti, sećanja, ljudi i forme neprestano iznova raspoređuju.

Sada preneseni iz Enšedea u Beograd, objekti, modeli, tekstili i arhitektonske skale zauzimaju nove pozicije. Izdvojeni iz svog probitnog konteksta, radovi se pomeraju zajedno sa njima, otkrivajući kako ono što se prenosi iz jednog konteksta u drugi nikada ne ostaje potpuno nepromenjeno. Izložba je realizovana uz podršku Ambasade Kraljevine Holandije, dok je Pepsi sponzor izložbene sezone.

English Description

Dutch artist Cecilia Hendrikx (@ceciliahendrikx) takes Huis van Gelderen, a modernist villa in Enschede (NL), as the point of departure for an exploration of architecture, textile, fixation, and documentation.

Rather than treating the house as a documentary subject, Hendriks approaches it as a space where histories, architectural appearances, and imagined and real relationships intersect. Through recording and reworking what she encounters, the KC Grad’s gallery space becomes a site of transference - a place where objects, memories, people, and forms are continually rearranged.

Now moved from Enschede to Belgrade, objects, models, textiles, and architectural scales take on new positions. Removed from their original setting, the work shifts with them, revealing how what is carried from one context into another is never quite unchanged. The exhibition is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with Pepsi as the sponsor of the exhibition season.
