Exhibition opening: Thursday, 9 April at 7 PM

The exhibition that opens Kula gallery's new season is a photography exhibition by Katarina Marković, "Dear Eros".

The central idea of the exhibition is a fantasy about Eros, not as a mythical being, but as a force that simultaneously creates and destroys.

"I created a myth about you" opens the question of Eros as a projection, longing, and the need to shape the elusive into an image.

Katarina Marković's works often emerge from the space between sorrow and passion, which come from the same place in the body. Eros and desire here are linked with solitude, understood as a state in which we are most honest with our own fantasies.

The exhibition installation was realized in collaboration with Ana Vučeta.
The exhibition is for sale and prices of the displayed works can be obtained at Art shop Kula. At Art shop Kula you can also find some other selected works by Katarina Marković.

Gallery opening hours are Wednesday to Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 8 PM.
