The camp focuses on the theme "Designing Our Garden" and during it children will, through creative work, team tasks and a mini design process, come up with their own solutions for small gardens and healthier eating habits.

How can we design a small garden at home, in the yard, at school or in the neighborhood? Which plants can we grow in a small space? And how can a garden help us better understand healthy eating?

We will learn which plants we can plant in pots, yards or shared spaces, what they need to grow, how to care for them, and why bees and other pollinators are important for the plants we eat. We will also discuss how a small garden can connect nature, food, health and everyday choices.

A special part of the program will be devoted to designing and creating a garden prototype: children will draw, plan, choose plants, and think about materials, space, water, light and maintenance.

Children will develop their garden ideas for a terrace, kitchen, schoolyard or neighborhood, and then present them through a drawing, model or simple prototype.

By participating in the camp you support the campaign 'Nauka koja raste', run by Platforma za inovacije u ekološkom obrazovanju, made up of KidHub and Ekonaut. The campaign aims to provide two kindergartens and two primary schools in Belgrade with the educational program 'Naučno igralište': an outdoor classroom, training for educators and teachers, and workshops for children.
