Description

Exhibition "Deep Cuts" by Katarina Jovičić and Olga Đelošević

It will be opened on July 3 at the Kula gallery, in Cetinjska 15.

Everyday objects and universal human experiences, inseparable as pain and joy, destruction and vulnerability, are the backbone of the interests of the artists Olga Đelošević and Katarina Jovičić. Motifs of thorns, chains, fire, or broken glass are nothing more than a kind of allegory of the fragility of our existence, among other things defined by fractures, failures, and emotional roller coasters. A different approach and materials used by the artists, in digital prints and textile sculptures that make up this exhibition, provide the viewer with insight into what happens behind our facades - a cacophony of everything, perfect and imperfect - that shapes our experience.
