Regional pop stars united by music and humanity will gather on Wednesday, May 27 from 9:00 PM at Belgrade's BitefArtCafe club for a major charity concert for their dear colleague, young pianist Sanja Stanković.
On stage will be some of the most well-known names of the domestic pop scene:
- Aleksandra Radović
- Vlado Georgiev
- Željko Vasić
- Ana Bebić
- Nemanja Radošević
- Hosts of the evening: Balkan Groove Band
The audience can expect an evening full of emotion, big hits and powerful musical moments, but also a shared mission – to help the young artist Sanja Stanković, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, who is fighting a serious battle with cancer.
After numerous treatments and complications, Sanja needs a modern targeted therapy with the drug Elacestrant, which is not available in Serbia, and whose price is around €7,000 for one box. The funds raised are intended for:
- purchase of the therapy
- further treatment in Serbia and abroad
- medical check-ups
- travel expenses
- accommodation during treatment
This concert is not only an outstanding musical event, but an evening of support and solidarity – a reminder that music has the power to move people and give hope when it is most needed.
