On 18 May we invite you to join a viewing of a contemporary stage interpretation of the novella by Sergei Dovlatov — 'The Foreign Woman'. The lead role — Маша Машкова. Director — Максим Диденко

«INOSTRANKA» is contemporary theatre about a person at a turning point. It is an honest conversation with the audience — about life in emigration, attempts to build a career in Hollywood, about Los Angeles, memory, family and coming of age. The production takes the form of a live dialogue without a fourth wall — ironic, honest, emotional and therapeutic.

The project addresses emigration as a universal human experience. After all, everyone has felt like a foreigner at least once in their life — in a new country, a new profession, or even in their own fate.
