Exhibition The Nineties: from Non-Submission to Resistance from September 1 in Budva

In collaboration with @cgo_cce, Foundation M90 @muzej90, @kcgrad and @opstina__budva, on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 8 PM, at the Santa Maria in Punta church in Budva, the exhibition "The Nineties: from Non-Submission to Resistance" will be opened.

The audience will have the opportunity to get acquainted with stories of non-submission, resistance, and civic courage. The exhibition is dedicated to individuals, collectives, and organizations that chose resistance and fought against nationalism, war, repression, and injustice.

An important space in the exhibition is occupied by independent and anti-war media, which played a key role in uncovering propaganda and reporting on war events and the struggle against authoritarian regimes, art as a space of resistance, then protests and civic initiatives, and one of the central parts of the exhibition is the Wall of Heroes, a tribute to individuals who showed exceptional civic courage. A particularly emotional segment “Goranka's Niche” is dedicated to Goranka Matić, a great artistic photographer and chronicler of social changes during the nineties.

The exhibition will be open until September 30, 2025, every day except Mondays, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
