Description
Free children's workshops – A language adventure through words, play and different languages for children aged 6+
How do you say "hello" in Hungarian, French or Spanish? And how do you count in different European languages?
As part of the celebration of the European Day of Languages, the workshop Language Through Play, organized by the European House, Children's City and the Institute for Foreign Languages, takes children on a fun journey through the languages of Europe through games, music, creative activities and socialising.
Participants will have the opportunity to get to know various European languages through greetings and counting, creating a picture dictionary, songs and counting rhymes, as well as short interactive quizzes.
The workshops are designed so that the content is adapted to the age and dynamics of the group, and the aim is for children to discover Europe's linguistic diversity in an engaging and hands-on way and to learn their first words in different languages.
The workshops will be held over four Saturdays in September, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the European House.
