JOKER OUT CELEBRATES AN ANNIVERSARY WITH A MAJOR CONCERT ON 23 AUGUST AT LUKA BEOGRAD

One of the region's most sought-after young bands, the Slovenian rock'n'roll sensation JOKER OUT will hold a major concert on 23 August in the Open Air Corner of Luka Beograd, organized by the production house Long Play. So far they have sold out concerts in record time, and ticket sales for the concert where they will celebrate 10 years of work with their fans begin on Friday.

Last autumn they swept across Europe from London, Paris and Vienna to Amsterdam, Warsaw, Prague and other cities. The power of their music is also demonstrated by the multi-million streams of their songs on streaming services, and their Eurovision hit and generational anthem "Carpe Diem" is the most-streamed Slovenian song ever. On Spotify it has more than 27 million streams and also appeared on the "Top 10 Spotify Global Viral Chart".

Their festival appearances so far at Arsenal Fest and Belgrade Beer Fest were among the most attended concerts, and fans from Serbia unmistakably sing their songs in chorus in both Serbian and Slovenian. "Umazane misli", "Novi val", "Tokio", "Ngvot", "Vem da greš", "Ona", "Plastika", "Demoni", "Šta bih ja", "Bluza", "Muzika za decu" are just some of their hits, and the recently released song "Supersonic" has caused widespread excitement among fans. The newest hit "Supersonic" will on Friday 30 January also receive a Serbian version, which the band recorded in collaboration with one of the most popular Serbian rappers, Devitom.

Over ten years they have thoroughly developed a musical direction they call shagadelic rock'n'roll, and this energetic yet seductive and modern sound has won over the region. To date they have released three albums – "Umazane misli", "Demoni" and "Souvenir Pop". Their international potential is also recognized by international media, with the BBC highlighting the collaboration with Costello, and The Mirror comparing them to Harry Styles.

Since their formation in 2016, Joker Out have helped trigger the return of live music, which has once again gained massive interest among young people. Joker Out is the first youth music group to gain wide popularity in Slovenia in the last ten years, and subsequently in Europe, after representing Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
