Meteor Shower — Perseid Night on Avala

On 8 and 9 August, at the site by the Avala TV Tower, the astronomy festival "Meteor Shower: Perseid Night on Avala / Weekend Under the Stars" will take place. ✨🔭

Festival program

• The program includes scientific, musical and entertainment outdoor events.
• In the scientific part of the program, specialists from the Rudjer Boskovic society will give lectures about space and host live streams.
• Professional telescopes will also be set up on site so anyone can observe the meteor stream.
• In the musical part of the program Irina Ognevich and the dance project Swing and Roll will perform.
• On Sunday, DJs together with the In Motion studio will be playing music.
• As entertainment for children and parents, the site will offer interactive games, quests and creative activities from Belgrade Museums.
• A food court and a souvenir market will operate on the grounds during both days.
• Organizers recommend that guests bring blankets or mats for comfortable stargazing. ✨
• Admission to all festival events is free.
