Meteor Shower: Night of the Perseids on Avala / Weekend Under the Stars

On 8 and 9 August an astronomy festival "Meteor Shower: Night of the Perseids on Avala / Weekend Under the Stars" will take place at the site by the Avala TV Tower. ✨🔭

Program

• Scientific, musical and entertainment outdoor events. In the science program, specialists from the Rudjer Boskovic Society will give lectures about space and run live streams. Professional telescopes will also be set up on site so anyone interested can observe the meteor shower.
• In the music program performances will include Ирина Огневич and the dance project Swing and roll. On Sunday DJs together with the studio In Motion will provide the music.
• As entertainment for children and parents, the site will feature interactive games, quests and creative activities organized by Belgrade museums.
• A food court and a souvenir market will operate on the grounds for both days. Organizers recommend guests bring blankets or mats for comfortable night-sky viewing. ✨
