Description

Why did Yugoslavia occupy a special place in international politics? How did the country build relations with the great powers and what remains of its foreign-policy legacy?

We invite you to explore these questions at the lecture 'Yugoslavia and the World'.

Historians Natalia Dimic Lompar and Rastko Lompar will discuss the place of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and socialist Yugoslavia in the world, how Yugoslav political elites and society perceived events beyond the country's borders, and how Yugoslavia's foreign policy changed in different historical periods.

We'll talk about Yugoslavia's international experience and why its legacy still deserves attention today.
