Summer Day, Matija Ban

On 12 June, the 10th anniversary festival Summer Day, Matija Ban will take place in the Great Park on Požeška Street in Banovo Brdo.🎭🎶

The event is dedicated to Matija Ban — a Serbian poet, diplomat, playwright and public figure, after whom the Banovo Brdo neighborhood is named. He was one of the first to see the potential of this area and contributed to its development as a place of culture, public life and recreation.

The festival program includes outdoor cultural and entertainment events: musical performances, plays, and activities for visitors of all ages.

The festival traditionally brings together residents and guests of Čukarica, providing a platform to discover local culture, creativity and community initiatives.🌳✨
