Light Asylum
Light Asylum — the techno-punk project of vocalist, producer, and performance artist Shannon Funchess, formed in 2007 in Brooklyn (keyboardist Bruno Coviello was the first to join her; the current lineup includes Raphael Radna). The band blends Detroit techno, EBM, gothic rock, new beat, house, and synth-pop, and is considered one of the key names of the contemporary darkwave revival — largely thanks to Funchess's powerful, recognizable vocals and intense live performances YouTube video.
