Gala Concert: Maria Khoreva and Makar Mikhalkin

GALA CONCERT OF CLASSICAL BALLET

On 20 September in Belgrade a magnificent evening of classical ballet will take place featuring stars of the international ballet scene.

The evening's main guests will be prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theatre Мария Хорева and principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre Макар Михалкин — artists whose performances captivate audiences on the world’s greatest stages.

The concert program includes famous excerpts from masterpieces of the global ballet repertoire:

• "Swan Lake"
• "The Sleeping Beauty"
• "The Nutcracker"
• "Don Quixote"
• "Le Corsaire"
• and other legendary productions.

Leading ballet artists from Serbia and Russia will also perform on stage, graduates of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet and guest soloists from leading theatres.

This unique gala concert will combine dazzling technique, the beauty of classical dance, and outstanding performing artistry. In a single evening, the audience will be able to see the brightest pages of the world ballet repertoire performed by artists of international calibre.
