Breaking News!
⚡️On November 8 at 7:00 p.m., I’ll be performing at the Novi Sad Synagogue. And not alone—I’ll be joined by a string ensemble!
The RE:FORM Program
The RE:FORM program is a journey from Bach’s music, with its clear form, through the deconstruction of order in the music of early Pärt and late Shnitke, to a new perspective on things in a piece by Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw. I’ll also be premiering the piece “Chaconne-Fractal” by Olga Janković @siberian.air (Serbia), which was written for me this year.
What You Won’t Find
- Banality and predictability
- Clichés and superficiality
What to Expect
It’s best not to expect anything 😅 My recommendation is to come with an open mind to new music, observe yourself, listen to the flight of the piano and strings in the stunningly beautiful Synagogue hall, and connect with the light. Take the plunge and reserve your seats on stage! There are only 30 of them. We’ll take care of the rest for you 🤍
My hopes for this project
A collective catharsis 😅 And hugs with all of you afterward.
Valeria and I
Valeria @_vrastogi and I are putting together a beautiful and memorable event. We’re counting on you to be there. We’d appreciate your reposts and any support for culture and the arts. See you there—hurray!
