"We took the classic 1976 film as our starting point," says the show's director Elena Dzyuba, "and tried to bring it to the stage. We'll meet Buratino, Malvina, Pierrot, laugh at the hapless Alice and Basilio, rejoice at the victory over Karabas. And, of course, we'll sing the beloved songs."
