Coffee with Princess Ljubica
Description
The monodrama "Coffee with Princess Ljubica" will once again take the audience on a journey through time, to 19th-century Belgrade, and bring closer the life and story of one of the most significant women in Serbian history.
About the monodrama
- "Coffee with Princess Ljubica" is a dramatic program by the Museum of the City of Belgrade that presents Princess Ljubica's Konak, a romanticized biography of the princess, and life in Belgrade during the rule of the Obrenović dynasty.
- This monodrama is the first museum theatre in the region, created in 2009.
- It emerged as the result of many years of research, and its conceptual creator — from the first idea, words and costumes to realization — was museum advisor at the Museum of the City of Belgrade, Nataša Popovska (1973–2022).
- The role of Princess Ljubica Obrenović is performed by actress Vjera Mujović.
