Disasters, whether natural or deliberate, leave little behind. Fire appears as plumes of smoke and devours everything in its field of view, while the collapse of a structure is signaled by a sudden falling in, a feeling of helplessness, and clouds of dust. The change of state is instantaneous. What remains after the devastation?

The exhibition “New Development” focuses on urban zones devastated by collapse, fire, or gradual decay. The photographed sites are not part of the same architectural complex or the same street, but belong to a shared route shaped by the daily movements of the artist and her fellow citizens. The condition of the structures has been monitored over an extended period, while the artistic process itself forms a map of personal memories.

The exhibition will be open every day until June 19 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
