Disasters, whether natural or deliberate, leave little behind. Fire announces itself with plumes of smoke and devours everything in its view, while the collapse of a structure is recognized by a sudden collapse, a feeling of helplessness and clouds of dust. The change of state is instantaneous. What remains after devastation?

The exhibition “New Development” focuses on urban zones laid waste by collapse, fire or gradual decay. The photographed places are not part of the same architectural complex or the same street, but belong to a shared route shaped by the daily movements of the artist and her fellow citizens. The condition of the buildings has been followed over a long period, while the artistic process itself forms a map of personal memories.

The exhibition will be open daily until 19 June from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
