AXIS—a play based on Osip Mandelstam and about Osip Mandelstam, his contradictions, his brilliant insights, his doubts; and his integrity.

Mandelstam’s transparent and shimmering poetics allow the actor to embark on a dramatic journey through the protagonist’s real-life space, while playing with the phantasmagorical elements of his imagery. The overt and the underlying. Only the poems of O.E.M. Nothing superfluous.
