We’re opening an exhibition of watercolors by Ksenia Romanova!
During the pandemic, while strolling through the quiet streets of Omsk with her baby in a sling, Ksenia truly noticed for the first time the fading beauty of the wooden window frames from the 1920s and 1930s. Realizing how quickly the carvings were fading away with the passage of time, she decided to preserve these patterns in watercolors.
Now, on the banks of the Danube, these works serve as a reminder of an abandoned house and encourage us to notice, love, and preserve the traces of a bygone era.
