Workshop for Children “Ornaments in Medieval Manuscripts”
On Saturday, October 4th, starting at 1:00 pm, the Historical Museum of Serbia is organizing a special workshop for children titled “Ornaments in Medieval Manuscripts”.
Through an interesting and educational content, the little ones will have the opportunity to discover what decorative elements looked like in medieval manuscripts, who made them, and how artistic techniques were transmitted through the centuries.
The workshop will be led by Marija Lakić, curator, and Ana Spasović, art historian, who will introduce children to the world of illuminated manuscripts and encourage them to create their own illustrations inspired by the Middle Ages.
The program is intended for children aged 6 to 12, with limited spaces available. Registration is mandatory and can be done via email: [email protected].
The participation fee is 400 dinars per child.
