The Inspector General (play)

Premiere in Serbia!

Sergei Golomazov’s The Inspector General is a dark play about lies, self-deception, and the fear of exposure.

A modern city under surveillance, where Khlestakov is not just a random windbag, but a charming and dangerous liar. He creates a new reality—and those around him willingly believe it.

Gogol wrote The Inspector General nearly 200 years ago, but people are still just as capable of seeing not the truth, but what they want to believe.
